Marcia M. Smith

Marcia Smith is Teck’s Senior Vice President, Sustainability and External Affairs. She leads a diverse portfolio that includes health and safety, environment and legacy properties, communities, government and corporate affairs, and Teck’s sustainability strategy.

Marcia is a member of the Executive Committee for the Mining Association of Canada and is immediate past Chair of the Principle Liaison Committee for the International Council on Mining and Metals, and the Business Council of British Columbia. She is currently a director for Aritzia Inc. Marcia was recognized in 2015 as one of the “Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada” by the Women’s Executive Network and is a recipient of the Business in Vancouver Influential Women in Business Award.
